Ok..I took the advice of my friends and finally went and read the book. I cant say that I'm impressed very much. To be honest I figured out the plot and maybe like half the ending , 20 pgs into the book. Or maybe that is just me. I have imagined a story like this, but that might be because there was absolutely nothing to do in Geography periods of 5th, 6th and 7th grade. Any way my favorite part is the prologue. The rest was like open to me. I dont know if anyone feels the same way.
So if you ask me if I think whether you should read the book or not. I would shrug. Maybe its just me. I wonder if I can turn this book into something else. I mean if I had written this book, maybe this would be the way it would turn out to be. While reading this book I was half freaking out- How the hell did this guy know this story? I imagined something like this once. But there is the fact that I would not have the patience to sit and write long long stories.What I like BEST is the quote on the book cover given below.

This is a Goodreads review::
Every April, when the wind blows from the sea and mingles with the scent of lilacs, Landon Carter remembers his last year at Beaufort High. It was 1958, and Landon had already dated a girl or two. He even swore that he had once been in love. Certainly the last person in town he thought he'd fall for was Jamie Sullivan, the daughter of the town's Baptist minister. A quiet girl who always carried a Bible with her schoolbooks, Jamie seemed content living in a world apart from the other teens. She took care of her widowed father, rescued hurt animals, and helped out at the local orphanage. No boy had ever asked her out. Landon would never have dreamed of it. Then a twist of fate made Jamie his partner for the homecoming dance, and Landon Carter's life would never be the same. Being with Jamie would show him the depths of the human heart and lead him to a decision so stunning it would send him irrevocably on the road to manhood...

It all comes down to who's by your side....
